The Main Library is 30,000 gross square feet housing a collection of books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and other materials.
This location comprises 2 floors including a passenger elevator.
Although the Milton Public Library has a long history in the community having been founded in 1855, its Main Library location has moved several times. In 1974, a prize winning new library building opened at 45 Bruce Street. In 2011, the Main Library opened in a new and larger facility within the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton at 1010 Main Street East.
