We are upgrading to a new and improved library system to bring you exciting new features and a better library experience. Get ready for:
- Text Notifications: Stay updated with text alerts for holds, due dates, and more.
- Bookmarks for Searches: Easily save and revisit your favorite catalogue searches.
- Enhanced Reading History: Keep track of what you’ve read with a searchable, sortable reading history complete with book cover images, authors, and check-out dates.
- Seamless Mobile App: Access your account and resources easily on the go with our brand-new App
During the upgrade, some services will be unavailable for a short time. We appreciate your patience during this transition and can’t wait to share the improved system with you on February 6!
- Borrow Items Easily: You can still borrow items at any of our branches by visiting our Customer Service Desk.
- Access Public Computers & Laptops: Enjoy uninterrupted access to our public computers and laptops.
- Book Rooms Without Hassle: Room bookings are available without the need to log in.
- Printing Services Are Ready for You: Printing services will also continue to remain available.
- E-Resources: Enjoy uninterrupted access to e-books, e-videos, databases and much more from our e-resources collection.

- Save Your Reading History:
To make sure you don’t lose your reading history, please save it manually before January 27. - Place Holds Early:
To keep your place in line, please place any holds on your favorite items before January 26. - Returning Items:
Please use the designated areas for returning items. Items left on carts cannot be checked out. The Library will extend the due date, please keep the items with you from Jan 27 to Feb 5th.

Yes, you can borrow items in person at all branches.
Yes, you can register for a new card in person at any branch or online.
Self-checkout machines will not be available during the upgrade from Jan 27 – Feb 5.
Items due between January 22 and February 5 will have their due dates extended to February 10. We encourage you to keep the items until Feb 6.
Yes, you can still visit our website for information and updates.
Yes, the catalogue will be available, but you won’t be able to place holds during the upgrade.
Online renewal will be paused during the upgrade, but will resume after February 6. Cards expiring from November 2024 onward will be renewed automatically until May 10, 2025.
No late fees will be charged from February 6 to February 14.
Yes. Credit card and cash payments can be processed.
Yes, you can. However, it will not be updated with most recent transactions between January 27 and Feb 6.
