Join the Library
A library card is free if you live, work or go to school in Milton, otherwise membership costs $35.00. You will be asked to show identification which shows your name and proof of one of the following:
- Current home address in Milton
- Employment in Milton
- Full-time registration at a school or college in Milton

Reciprocal Borrowing
You may use your Milton library card without charge at the following public libraries: Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Wellington County. You must show your Milton library card and be registered in their database.
Lost Card
If you lose your library card and / or key tag please notify us, as you are responsible for all material signed out on your card.
Non-Resident Borrowing
If you don't live, work, or study in Milton, or qualify for reciprocal borrowing, you may register for a non-resident library membership at a cost of $35 per year.
