Pride
At the Milton Public Library we celebrate Pride by embracing the rich diversity of our community and affirming that we are stronger together. We imagine a world where differences are celebrated, not feared, and where everyone is welcomed just as they are. Throughout Pride, MPL will be partnering with local organizations, offering inclusive programs, and encouraging the exploration of 2SLGBTQIA+ stories through curated book selections that reflect and support our diverse community.
PRISM Pride Parade and Pride in the Park
We’re proud to be a partner for the PRIDE Halton Parade, presented by PRISM Halton. Join us and other local organizations on July 20th as we march through the heart of Milton in a statement of love, resilience, and unwavering support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community! Keep an eye out for our float made in collaboration with our teen community members and come say hi to our team at our booth at the Pride in the Park festival!
