Put Pen to Paper 2023
2023 saw the triumphant return of the annual Put Pen to Paper writing contest, and demonstrated the talent of Milton’s young writers.
30 amazing short stories were submitted, 20 stories in the Junior category for grades 6-8 and 10 in the Senior category for grades 9-12. A panel of judges from Milton Public Library’s staff were given copies with the authors’ names removed, to make them anonymous.
They had the difficult task of reading each story and deciding on the very best ones. An awards ceremony was held on Saturday, November 4, where the winners were announced.
Congratulations to all of our participants, and the winners! Keep writing, and we’ll see you next year!
