The latest community report is now available for download, offering detailed insights into our recent survey’s findings and key outcomes. Explore how these results will shape our services and programs to better serve your needs.

Staff will begin to implement recommendations and develop a work plan for Board Approval. Milton Public Library’s Strategic and Master Plan work will begin in the summer of 2024 and will be informed by the community consultation and findings outlined in the Service Delivery and Organizational Review Final report.

As one of the fastest growing municipalities in North America, we embarked on a transformative journey with the Service Delivery and Organizational Review Project, a step towards aligning our services with the dynamic needs of our community.

Our Vision

In our continuous effort to serve you better, this project, spearheaded by the esteemed Forum Research and TCI Consulting, aimed to enhance our operational and strategic effectiveness. We’re not just looking at the now but paving the way for a future that embraces change and innovation.

  1. Service Delivery Review: We’re diving deep into our current services to unearth efficiencies, and explore sustainable practices.
  2. Organizational Review: A thorough examination of our processes and staffing, to recommend a structure that’s agile and responsive to your needs.
  3. Community Engagement: This is where you came in! Your voice help shape our offerings, understand your needs, and measure our impact in the community.

The Journey 

This strategic review, was presented to our Board in April 2024. From environmental scans to program assessments, we covering all bases. We starting with a staff survey in December, followed by an invitation to you, our community, for broader consultation in January.
