Wear Your Pride with MPL: Shirt Design Contest

MPL wants to Wear Your Pride for the 2nd Annual Halton Pride Parade on July 14! We need some shirts for library staff to wear in the parade, and we want Milton’s teens to design them. The design should include both elements of MPL and pride.

 

Contest rules:

  1. This contest is open to teens between the ages of 12-17 who live in or attend school in Milton. One entry per person.
  2. All designs must be the original creations of the contestant, with no use of AI assistance.
  3. Designs must be submitted as .jpg or .png files between 12:01 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2024 and 11:59 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024. Designs shall be submitted as an email attachment sent to Corrina.mcgill@beinspired.ca. In the body of the email, please include your name and age.
  4. Designs should be suitable to put on a tee shirt and no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches. Designs should use only 1 colour for ease of printing. Please note we will be putting the designs on shirts using a Cricut Explore Air 2 so they must be in a usable format for that machine.
  5. All submissions shall be appropriate for a family-friendly audience. MPL reserves the right to remove from consideration any designs considered inappropriate for an all-ages audience.
  6. Any text should be in Gill Sans MT font.
  7. By entering this contest, you are consenting to have your work, name, and photograph used for promotional purposes.
  8. The winner will receive a tee shirt with their design printed on it and a $50.00 Indigo gift card. Winners will be determined by MPL staff.
