Shape Your Library
Each year, Milton Public Library conducts a patron survey to find out how you use the library, what services and resources matter most to you, and how we can improve your overall experience. Whether you’re a frequent visitor or a first-time user, your insights will guide our planning and ensure that MPL continues to grow as a welcoming, innovative, and responsive hub for learning, creativity, and connection. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us!
Estimated time: 10–15 minutes
Who can participate: All MPL patrons and community members
Please note: Survey ends on October 4th. All survey responses and personal information will remain confidential. If you need the survey in another format or prefer to complete it in-person, please email us at mpl@beinspired.ca or visit any MPL branch.
Prize draw
After completing the survey, you may choose to enter a prize draw for a chance to win one of three $50 FirstOntario Arts Centre gift cards.
- Entering the draw is optional and does not affect your survey.
- Contact information is collected only for the draw and kept separate from survey responses.
- Winners will be contacted directly after the survey closes.
Why your feedback matters
Which programs bring you to the library and which ones you wish we offered more often. Whether it’s author talks, children’s storytimes, hands-on workshops, or fun community gatherings, your input helps us create events that fit your interests.
Books, magazines, movies, games, or digital resources, we’d love to know what matters most to you. Your feedback will help us decide where to grow our collections, which formats to expand, and how to balance physical and digital items so there’s something for everyone.
From quiet study corners to vibrant children’s areas, our spaces are designed to meet a variety of needs. Tell us how we can improve our seating, technology, accessibility, or even branch hours so that the library feels welcoming and convenient every time you visit.
Many people connect with the library first through our digital services. Share your thoughts on how easy it is to search the catalogue, register for programs, borrow eBooks, or use our mobile app. Your feedback will help us make the online experience smooth, accessible, and user-friendly.
We’d like to hear how MPL has impacted your life, whether through saving you money, helping you learn new skills, or connecting you with community resources, and where we can improve our reach.
